Puppy Socialization: What It Is and How to Do It, by Marge Rogers and myself, is now available at Amazon and several other vendors (with more to come)! You can purchase the e-book, with 63,000 words, 50+ photos, and access to 50+ linked videos, for $9.99.

UPDATE: The book is now available as a paperback as well. The paperback is currently at Amazon only, but another vendor is in the works.

This book is why the lights were off for an unprecedented two months in my blog! Late at night sometimes I work on some posts—it’s impossible for me not to write blog posts—but I haven’t had the brain cells to polish them. Polishing the puppy book is all Marge and I have been doing for most of that time period!

        1. I found out that Amazon doesn’t yet know that “socialization” and “socialisation” aren’t the same thing? Our book isn’t coming up under the latter term yet!

  3. Oh this is grand. I particularly like the chapter on body language, with all the examples. A missing piece, indeed. Are there any plans to print a paper copy? I have a friend who puts together Welcome Puppy kits and this book would be a great addition.

  9. It’s a great manual for beginning and advanced dog owners. It’s easy to read, and it doesn’t overwhelm you like some other puppy manuals do.

    The bottom line is: good experiences and positive associations, and this concept is your guide throughout the book.

    I like that there are videos supporting the text, I think that’s a great bonus. And the writers offer the ebook at a very reasonable price.

    But what I’m most happy and excited about is to see that the book promotes the Control Unleashed program. Hats off to you!
